Fire Sprinkler Systems

Automatic fire sprinkler systems also known as a wet pipe systems are widely regarded as the most effective method of controlling fires caused by a broad range of hazards. This system is a fire suppression system required in most industrial, commercial, and specific residential buildings. These systems are installed to suppress and contain fires.

Sprinkler systems can automatically detect a fire, transmit an alarm and control the fire. This can be the difference between a minor accident and a major business shutdown. Abate, install and commission reliable, cost-effective sprinkler systems by carefully analysing your buildings and facilities in terms of occupancy, operation and fire risk.

Fire Hydrants

Abate can install and maintain all aspects of fire hydrants in all types of buildings.

A fire hydrant system is a high pressured water pump designed to deliver mains pressure water from a primary water supply directly to a building for the use of the fire brigade in the event of a fire.

A fire hydrant is an active fire protection device that acts as a connection point for fire fighters to connect their hoses in order to combat a fire.

In order for fire fighters to have a greater chance of controlling a fire, the hydrants are strategically located around the building or within a building.

Exit and Emergency Lighting

If a major power failure has occurred or in the event of an emergency a building will, more often than not, be extremely dark making it very difficult to locate and exit. In order to surmount this issue, exit and emergency lights are installed throughout a building.

Even if the main power is out, exit and emergency lighting have an internal battery allowing illumination in order to identify an exit.

Exit and Emergency lighting must stay illuminated for a minimum of 90 minutes as stipulated by The Australian Standards.

Contact Abate today to discuss the installation, maintenance and service of your Exit and Emergency lighting.
